Jaeger Oil & Chemical Holdings Ltd. and its subsidiaries (hereinafter called the ：Group；) are engaged in the trading, manufacturing and distribution of a diversified range of petrochemical products. The Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of MINMETALS Land Limited (：MINMETALS；), a locally registered company and publicly listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.
Jaeger Oil & Chemical Co. Ltd., was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1984. Through a series of business expansion, several companies had been set up to engage mainly in import, distribution and production of specialty lubricants.
In 1996, Minmetals acquired 85% of the issued shares of the Group and later the Group became Minmetals wholly owned subsidiary in 1997. Approximately 54% of the shares of Minmetals are owned by The China Minmetals Group.
Jaeger Group・s head office is located in Hong Kong and is responsible for the general management, finance, administration and logistics functions. The Group has a production facility in the PRC for the manufacture of its products. It also operates branch offices in Shanghai and Chongqing. The Group has about 160 employees presently of which about 20 staffs are recruited from Hong Kong.

The products sold by the Group are either manufactured by itself or its OEM sub-contractors and sold under the Group・s brand name or imported brand names under the Group・s agency. Majority of the products are sold in Hong Kong and the PRC directly to end-users and minority are sold through the Group・s dealers and retail shops. The Group・s distribution channel also covers Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Most of the Group・s products are of the mid-range to premium lubricants for industrial use. In addition to the Group・s own brand name ：Jaeger； (the Group has registered the brand name ：Jaeger； in Hong Kong and PRC), the Group is the sole distribution agent for the following brands and products:

Japan Fuso Seiki・s Lumina automatic spray guns
Japan Nichibei・s full range of die casting products
UK Korniche・s full range of specialty lubricants
UK Rite-Lok・s full range of industrial adhesives
US G.W. Smith & Sons・s die casting lubricants
Currently most of the Group・s products in Jaeger brand are manufactured by the Group・s production plant at Panyu, Guangdong Province in the PRC. Others brands are manufactured in Europe, USA and Singapore. The production plant has a total gross floor area of approximately 6,000 square metres. At the end of 2003, the plant achieved certification to ISO9001 from SGS.
